Ortur Laser FAQ
What files work with Ortur lasers?
Ortur machines work best with DXF and SVG files imported into LightBurn. They also accept GCode files generated by LightBurn or LaserGRBL.
Does Ortur use LightBurn software?
Yes. LightBurn is the recommended software for all Ortur laser cutters. Connect via USB or Wi-Fi and select your Ortur machine profile.
What materials can Ortur lasers cut?
Ortur diode lasers cut thin wood, acrylic, leather, cardboard, and MDF. They engrave on metal (anodized aluminum), glass, and stone. Avoid PVC and polycarbonate.
