FreeLaserFile was built to give makers a reliable source of production-ready files they can download and use immediately, at no cost.
Every design on the site is free to download without registration, free for commercial use, and tested before publishing. The site is funded by advertising (Google AdSense), which keeps the files free for everyone. No subscriptions. No premium tier. No hidden fees.

File quality standards
Every file published on FreeLaserFile goes through a quality check before it goes live:
- All paths are closed and properly connected — no gaps that would stop a cut mid-path.
- No overlapping contours — duplicate lines cause double-cutting and burned edges.
- No stray points or disconnected nodes.
- Kerf allowance applied where relevant for tight-fitting assemblies.
- Scaled accurately — a 100mm design is 100mm in the file.
