K40 vs xTool S1 — which should I buy in 2025?
Budget is around $800. I mostly do wood engraving and some acrylic cutting. The S1 seems amazing but the K40 has a huge community. Thoughts?

The S1 is in a completely different league. Enclosed, air assist built in, camera for material placement. The K40 community is great but you'll spend weeks just getting it working consistently.

Depends on your use case. K40 is a workhorse once tuned but needs upgrades ($50-150). S1 just works out of the box. If time > money, get the S1.
